I hadn't done a "Maternity" shoot for a long time. They don't come around as often as they used to.:) 

This couple was so great. So casual and relaxed.

We were walking through snow and mud and they were troopers. What a special time for them expecting their first baby. That truly is a special time in a couple's life. 

Glad I could capture their excitement and capture the two of them before this sweet baby comes. 

My brother and his family. I got to take a couple photos of each of my siblings. I loved shooting on the sandy beach with the beautiful ocean in the background. So fun!

Photography Tip: If you are having a hard time with harsh direct sunlight all around, put the subjects at an angle. Then you shoot at an angle. Sunlight is always better shinning on the side rather than directly in front or behind the subjects. (in my opinion)

This husband put together this shoot for a surprise for his wife. I thought that was sweet of him. These girls were so fun to shoot. My favorite was to see the dad watch all his beautiful girls. A very beautiful family.
