Seniors

Shooting Seniors is a lot of fun. What a special time in their lives. I love to be a part of it. This shoot was shot in Old Town. So many textures and colors to shoot on. This girl was easy to shoot, the camera loved her. 

Another great shoot. This spot has become one of people's favorites. I have seen this family grow up. They wanted a shoot before two head off to college. 

Kaity and Austin

I had the opportunity to shoot this brides reception. They are a very sweet couple.

 It was a beautiful and simple reception. So honored I could be part of their special day.

Shooting receptions is so much fun - there are a lot of fun candids to capture. 

I have been shooting this family for years. I always look forward to being with them. We always shoot at their house. This year there happened to be beautiful wild sunflowers along their fence. It was so pretty. We took that opportunity and used those as the background. Loved this shoot.

seniors

It is that time of year where I am doing a few Senior sessions. I think these might just be my favorite sessions to do lately. They are relaxed, easy , and these sessions are a good time to try new things with my camera and lenses (don't have little kids running around trying to capture a picture). 

I loved this session with this beautiful girl. She is smart and such a sweet girl. She has a good idea of where she wants her life to go. I admire her goals and aspirations. 

Right before this shoot started it started to get super cloudy and dark (and rainy). 

I was crossing my fingers that we would have enough light. It worked out. 

Photography Tip - When shooting Seniors - take them to multiple locations. This was my first time doing multiple locations and I really enjoyed the variety each place gave. 

Another fun family to shoot. They had a beautiful house and yard so it worked well to do the shoot there. This family was so much fun to hang out with.

I had a big family shoot. This was a great family. The Grandma wanted a big family shot while her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were in town. It was fun to watch this special family and see how much they all adore "Grandma" and "Grandpa". I could tell it was a proud and special day for the grandparents. 

Tball

It was fun to shoot this little Tball team. They were so great. They had a LOT of energy, but we managed to get a few team pics and action shots. I love uniforms in pictures. They just pop! There is something so fun to see everyone dressed the same. 

Had so much fun with this family. I loved this shoot. Easy and Fun. It has been raining so much here in Colorado so it has made everything really green. It is beautiful. Glad we could capture the green. 

I know I say this about all the families I shoot, but this is another great one. Such good people. 

Team pics

This was my first time taking official Team Pictures for a Sports team. I was sort of nervous about it - but it turned out to be tons of fun. The coach of this team wanted a team pic for a big banner to hang up at the games. The girls were great and we had some fun doing different poses. 

BTW, the "in" thing with sports pictures is the "serious face" look. (at least that is what the girls told me) The girls really wanted to look "serious" for a lot of pics. I just went with it.:)

Engagements

Engagements are fun. This couple was super relaxed and easy. 

I try not to make the couple pose in a cheesy way. This couple was perfect when it came to natural.
